Based in Kigali, Rwanda, Jean Bizimana is a Rwanda-based documentary photographer and photojournalistspecializing in humanitarian photography, NGO photography, and development project documentation. His work focuses on human-centered storytelling, photojournalism highlighting marginalized communities, and documentary photography of Rwanda’s communities, working closely with NGOs, international organizations, and media outlets. Jean documents development and humanitarian projects in Rwanda and abroad, including orphanage, youth, and education-focused photography, and is widely recognized for the award-winning project Through the Eyes of Children. Available for documentary photography, humanitarian assignments, NGO photography, and international development projects, he works in the field in Kigali, across Rwanda, and on international assignments, delivering cross-cultural storytelling through photography.
